Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Role

As a Strategic Account Executive, Alliances (Remote, based in US), you’ll own and grow a portfolio of channel and referral partnerships — including brokers, benefits consultants, technology ecosystem partners, etc, while driving net-new revenue through those relationships. This is a consultative, relationship-driven role built for someone who thinks strategically, operates with executive presence, and understands how to unlock pipeline through partners rather than purely through direct prospecting. You’ll be selling Netchex’s full HCM and payroll platform to mid-market and enterprise accounts, with the backing of a team that genuinely wants you to win.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and develop strategic alliance partners (brokers, benefits consultants, accounting firms, technology partners, and payroll bureaus) to build a high-quality referral pipeline
  • Own the full sales cycle for alliance-sourced opportunities — from partner engagement and deal registration through discovery, solution design, and close
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets tied to alliance-sourced bookings
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Partner Success, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Implementation to deliver an exceptional partner and client experience
  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market plans with key alliance partners, including co-marketing, co-selling, and enablement initiatives
  • Accurately forecast alliance pipeline and report on partner performance metrics using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Represent Netchex at industry conferences, partner summits, and broker/consultant events to expand the alliance network and strengthen brand presence

What We Are Looking For
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding quota in a strategic or channel/alliances capacity
  • Proven experience building and managing channel partnerships, broker relationships, or alliance ecosystems — ideally within HCM, payroll, HR tech, benefits, or adjacent SaaS markets
  • A strategic, consultative approach — you ask great questions, understand business problems deeply, and build solutions that resonate with both partners and their clients
  • Executive presence and the ability to engage credibly with C-suite and senior HR/Finance leaders
  • Strong ability to manage a complex partner portfolio and multiple co-selling opportunities simultaneously
  • Experience with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPICED) is a strong plus
  • Payroll, HCM, or HR tech experience is a strong plus — but not required
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HighSpot)

What You’ll Gain
  • Uncapped earning potential with a competitive base salary and commission structure tied to alliance-sourced revenue
  • Build and shape Netchex’s alliance motion
  • Larger, less crowded territories — more runway, more opportunity
  • The tools, training, and support to ramp quickly and perform at your peak
  • A culture that celebrates strategic thinking, rewards results, and invests in your growth
  • A genuine sense of pride in helping businesses run better — through the partnerships you build and the clients you bring on
