• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and circumstances.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions in various formats, including individual, group, and family therapy settings.
• Employ diverse therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches tailored to client goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and comprehensive care, participating in case consultations and team meetings.
• Maintain accurate and current clinical documentation and records, adhering to legal and ethical standards to support client care and organizational integrity.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops, and training sessions to stay informed about the latest mental health research and practices.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients including individuals facing emotional crises, families seeking support for relational issues, and individuals battling substance use disorders. Your expertise will empower clients to navigate their mental health challenges and work towards recovery in a supportive and compassionate environment.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical practices related to mental health counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to enhance client care.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies enhancing telehealth services.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Experience in working with specific populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals and underrepresented groups, is a plus.
