Camera Vision System Engineer
Hybrid in Chillicothe, IL. A couple of days in the office, the rest working remote.

Required:
- The individual must have a Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent technical field with 2 years of relevant engineering development work experience in software development, system design, or product validation of perception systems.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering development work experience in software development, system design, or product validation of perception systems.
- Linux OS experience
- Experience programming in C++, and/or Python
- Analysis, and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Experience with software development tools such as git, debuggers, and compilers.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in the areas of robotics, remote control, or autonomy
- Experience with datalinks (CAN, Ethernet, etc.) and associated tools (CANape, Wireshark, etc.).
- Ability to focus on multiple priorities and help where needed
- Experience with a version management tool.
- Willingness to work on a diverse team.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Great teamwork, communication.
- The individual should be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to learn at an accelerated pace, and willing to put in the time to get the job done.
Candidate Responsibilities:
This position is for a camera vision system engineer to support the remote control and semi-autonomous machine systems. The individual hired for this position will work as part of an engineering team to design, develop, integrate, and test of a camera-based vision system for remote control applications used equipment in a mining or construction environment.
Typical Day:
Work within small team developing (designing, coding, integrating and validating on bench or machine) camera based vision systems for remote control applications used equipment in a mining or construction environment. All features are validated in lab. Follow Agile bi-weekly sprint environment.
