LOCATION: Remote (Memphis, TN)

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

We are looking for an energetic and team-oriented individual with demonstrated success implementing technology solutions, process improvement ideas, and/or administering change management initiatives. An outstanding performer with a demonstrated ability to get things done quickly and effectively. Must be comfortable working within a technical team and with business executives to raise the bar on our project initiatives.

A truly exceptional Business Analyst will serve as an information hub. They constantly seek out, process, vet, analyze, share, and present information about how the company works or could work. They are good listeners, teachers, prefer a collaborative approach to problem solving, and have developed the technical, leadership, change management, and project management skills necessary to achieve results under tight deadlines without damaging relationships. They have the ability to discover, analyze, and present data related to business operations in a clear and concise manner.

This position will act as a conduit between the IT department, business units, product owners, and vendors to develop technical solutions to solve business needs. You will not do this alone. You will partner with a team consisting of business analysts, project managers, software architects, DBAs, and business partners to define and build great software solutions. You will mentor junior team members providing learning and growth opportunities through real day to day work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Develop applications systems requirements, testing and controls and provide support of application enhancements. Leads pre-project business problem elicitation, feasibility, and business case definition Leads determination of key information and analysis requirements and build supporting information and decision support systems. Performs process modeling and process redesign Lead the requirements gathering through interviews, document analysis, systems analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs Translates customer's high-level requirements into functional specifications for IT developers Analyzes operational data and assists with the creation of visualizations and KPI's Ensures requirements traceability through testing Assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks. Provide significant contributions in the testing and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software. Support, maintain and/or administer implemented business system solutions, as deemed necessary Supports organizational change management initiatives Provides project management support by removing any impediments that are preventing forward movement on projects Maintain visibility and accuracy of relevant metrics that provide visibility into project status that are required by all stakeholders Works well in a team environment communicating business and technical requirements to IT resources, business groups, and vendors Competent to work on all phases of systems analysis while considering business implications of the potential technologies to current and future business processes Actively supports corporate efforts, policies, and protocols for Security, Information Protection, and Threat Protection

Education, Certification and Experience

  • Advanced degree within Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related experience

  • Strong skills in MS Excel, Visio, MSWord, and PowerPoint

  • 4+ years experience as a Business Analyst across large, complex projects

  • 2+ years experience leading Agile project activities

  • Experience with ERP conversions

  • Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations

  • Strong understanding of all stages in a project lifecycle and delivery approaches, e.g. waterfall, agile, etc. (preferred)

  • Experience in a manufacturing and sales organization for Apparel products, or in an Athletic Training or Sports Event management company (preferred)

  • Experience utilizing business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik (preferred)

Supervisory Responsibility

No direct supervisory responsibilities Mentoring and training of other employees

Physical Demands and/or Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and is largely a sedentary role. There may be filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
