Job Description
The State of Wisconsin is looking for .NET Web Developer -II
Candidate MUST be a WI resident. No relocation is allowed. This position can work 100% remote (within the state of WI).
This is a position needed for the development and support of critical priority applications in the Division of Employment and Training. Candidates will play an integral role on self directed work teams in support of high priority development projects. Project work will include: application design and development, integration with 3rd party software, data conversion, new development and modifications to existing code. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in designing, creating, and maintaining web services, system integration, web development, and Agile Scrum development ethodology.
The successful candidate will be highly technically competent, a consistently high producer, a good communicator, and an overall team player. All candidates submitted with inconsistencies or falsifications in their credentials will be disqualified and DOA purchasing will be notified

Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:
· Web and client-server application development experience, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support (6 yrs)
· Previous work experience in government, insurance, accounting or case management is required. (3 yrs)
· Previous work experience in online transaction processing (OLTP) web application development and batch processing required. (3 yrs)
· ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, Object Oriented Design (3-5 yrs)
· Visual Studio.NET, Jira, GitHub, MVC and MVVM design patterns (3-6 yrs)
Nice to Have Skills:
· Google Cloud Experience preferred.
· Microsoft Azure Cloud Experience

Additional Details:
DWD is currently allowing remote work from Wisconsin. The contractor will be required to be available online, be present to meet all workload requirements, and must be available to attend all scheduled meetings during DWD standard working hours of 7.45 am – 4.30 pm Central Time. DWD can make changes or modifications to this arrangement with reasonable advance notice.
All service providers submitted with inconsistencies or falsifications in their credentials will be disqualified and DOA Purchasing will be notified.
