Job description

Enterprise Account Executive - Data Strategy
Department: Sales
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Remote
Compensation: $100,000 - $250,000 / year
Description
The data industry is entering its biggest transformation in decades. AI, cloud, and modern analytics are changing how every organization operates. At Arkatechture, you'll be on the front lines of that transformation, not selling software, but helping executives rethink how they use data to run their business.
Why Work Here? How about, Why STAY HERE!
People join Arkatechture for different reasons. Some are drawn to the technology. Some prefer the flexibility of a remote-first company. Some want to work for an independently owned, high-growth organization. Most stay because of the people.
We're a company that genuinely enjoys working together. Our consultants, engineers, project managers and sales team collaborate every day to solve difficult problems for our clients. There isn't a "throw it over the wall" mentality here. Everyone has a seat at the table, and good ideas can come from anywhere.
As we've grown, we've worked hard to keep that culture intact. We hire people who are curious, humble, dependable and willing to help each other succeed. If you're looking for internal politics or layers of bureaucracy, you won't find much of either.
We offer a competitive benefits package that includes:
  • A flexible remote work policy with optional access to our Portland, Maine office
  • A 4-day workweek after 3 years of service
  • Generous paid time off, including 11 holidays
  • Medical, disability, life insurance, and optional dental/vision
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Training & certification reimbursement
  • Milestone recognition programs, annual PTO increases, and more

All employees share our core values: put the team first, practice humility, take pride in everything we do, stay curious, care for our community & environment, take work seriously; ourselves not so much.
The Position
This isn't a high-volume sales role. It is a high dollar sales role. So bring your experience, talent, character and curiosity. Bring your A-game.
If you enjoy learning how businesses work and helping clients solve complicated data-oriented challenges, you'll probably enjoy this role.
You may be helping customers deploy a new data warehouse strategy. You may be helping customers migrate from legacy, on prem systems to more modern, cloud based technologies. You may be helping customers expand their technical resources through staff augmentation. You will be helping customers harness the power of their data.
This role will typically focus on non-financial institutions. Think healthcare, retail, government, and other regulated industries.
While you will be responsible for new logo acquisition (sourced through established and new partners, your own rolodex or outbound outreach and inbound opportunities), there are existing customers you will work with to drive additional revenue.
How to Apply
Please send a cover letter and resume with your application. You must submit both documents to be considered for the position. We're building a diverse team of people who care about doing meaningful work with great people. If that excites you, apply and let's start the conversation.
