Rocky Mountain Family & Kids Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote role allows you to provide vital mental health services to a diverse clientele, including adults and children. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload, engaging with clients to build rapport and foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.
  • Conduct regular follow-up meetings with clients to assess their progress, discuss stability, plan for upcoming appointments, and determine readiness for discharge when appropriate.
  • Create, implement, and routinely evaluate client-centered treatment plans, ensuring alignment with individual goals and needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes for each client, to ensure continuity of care and compliance with legal standards.
  • Perform comprehensive intake assessments to identify client needs and guide treatment approaches.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions multiple times per week, adapting therapeutic techniques to meet each client's unique circumstances.
  • Engage in regular supervision and professional development activities to further enhance your clinical skills.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to coordinate care and optimize outcomes for clients.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, continually seeking ways to improve personal and professional practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will impact a varied patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing emotional and psychological challenges. You will be equipped to provide direct psychotherapy and counseling services that cater to their unique needs, leveraging a range of therapeutic modalities. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must hold a Masterโ€™s degree in Mental Health Counseling and possess an unrestricted, independent, active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential. Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience in a clinical outpatient setting post-graduation is essential.

Preferred Experience

Experience providing direct psychotherapy to individuals and families is highly desirable.
