Whatyou'llown

  • Lead technical designs of new features and services, which involve doing investigations, code analysisanddeliverhigh qualityfeatures which involve contributing to design, development,testingand release.

  • Collaborate closely with multiple parties (Product Management, Agile Release Train members, Architects, DevOps etc.) from across Worldpay to brainstorm and pick best solutions for a problem within the constraints of the system.

  • Assistwith investigation of live system issues and propose solutions to address the root cause

  • Mentor junior team members

  • Attends allSAFe/Agile related ceremonials

  • Assess impacts of architectural direction in the areas of Security, Availability, Performance, Maintainability, and Scalability.

  • Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Whatyou'llbring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience). With 7+ years of experience delivering softwaresolutionsand4+ years of experience in system architecture and design for scalable enterprise applications.

  • Hands-on experience with Kafka, understanding business drivers, and staying current with emerging technology and computing trends.

  • Proven experience deploying and managing distributed applications and services on Azure cloud platforms.

  • Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies and best practices.

  • Experience designing and developing cloud-based solutions on Azure and AWS, includingmicroservicesarchitecture and API development using .NET 6+.

  • Expertisein developing cloud strategies aligned with businessobjectives,leveragingAzure and hybrid cloud environments, and managing containerized workloads using Kubernetes and OpenShift to ensure scalability, resilience, security, and high availability.

It'sa bonus if you have

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent technical design, problemsolvingand debugging skills.

  • Be self-driven and showabilityto deliver on ambiguous technical challenges with incomplete data.
