About the position:
The Procurement Analyst / Purchasing Assistant position requires someone who is a self-starter with the ability to apply their technical knowledge to troubleshoot, resolve, and provide recommendations to best support our sales teams and vendors. The primary focus of this position is to provide industry leading support for our clients, vendors and internal teams with a high level of customer service. Professionalism and a strong ability to communicate is a must. We are looking for a person with a great attitude, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities:
• Review Product and Service Orders for processing
• Daily Order Monitoring and Auditing
• Recommend solutions to existing processes to reduce waste
• Work in Tandem with other team members and support ongoing projects
• Assist internal teams with specific order requests in a timely manner
• Develop and Grow Rapport with New and Existing Vendors
• Monitoring group email to respond to requests and problems
• Maintain and update existing purchasing reports
• Willingness to be available for Quarterly company and vendor closes (adjusted schedule or overtime for the day, roughly 6 times a year)
Requirements
• 3 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• General Purchasing and Accounting knowledge information and background preferred
• Must be able to work in very fast pace environment
• Experience with Connectwise and Varcommerce a plus
• Knowledge of IT equipment a plus
