Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality services as an Independent Contractor, while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, developing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Delivering both individual and group counseling sessions for seniors and adults, utilizing therapeutic techniques that facilitate healing and self-discovery.
• Actively connecting clients with local resources, support groups, and community services that would enhance their recovery journey.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of clinical encounters using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and HIPAA regulations.
• Participating in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and contribute to ongoing development of communal best practices aimed at enhancing patient care.
• Staying informed of the latest research and trends in social work and addiction treatment, integrating new strategies into your practice to better serve clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position specifically focuses on serving senior clients and adult individuals who may be facing addiction and mental health challenges. You will engage with clients in various stages of recovery within the context of our Detox Center, providing empathetic guidance and interventions that are culturally sensitive and individually tailored. Your interactions will promote healing, helping clients to navigate their recovery journeys while addressing underlying psychological issues.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.
• Competence in using telehealth systems and platforms, along with strong communication skills essential for effective virtual counseling.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical social work role is preferred, we value a strong commitment to mental health advocacy and skill development.
