Common responsibilities include data modeling, optimizing queries, and ensuring data security. Employers look for experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with expertise in ETL processes and analytics. These roles offer flexibility while requiring strong collaboration with data engineers and analysts.
