Provides strategic leadership for BIM and VDC initiatives across multiple projects and teams, driving standardization, quality, and innovation. Oversee modeling, coordination, and project delivery efforts while advancing organizational BIM VDC capabilities and performance.
What You'll Do
BIM VDC Leadership & Implementation
  • Lead the implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of BIM and VDC processes across projects and teams
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce BIM execution plans aligned with project requirements and industry standards
  • Establish and champion BIM VDC best practices, workflows, and quality benchmarks organization-wide
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and recommending advancements in BIM VDC technologies, processes, and delivery methods

Modeling & Coordination Oversight
  • Oversee the development and management of detailed 3D models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related platforms
  • Direct clash detection and coordination efforts to proactively resolve design conflicts and mitigate project risk
  • Ensure the production of accurate field installation and fabrication drawings

Collaboration & Project Oversight
  • Facilitate high-level coordination and communication among stakeholders through digital collaboration platforms
  • Partner with architects, engineers, contractors, owners, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and information exchange
  • Oversee multiple BIM VDC projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to schedules, deliverables, and quality expectations
  • Support project leadership in constructability reviews, planning, logistics, scheduling, and cost optimization

VDC Process Optimization
  • Apply VDC methodologies to enhance planning, sequencing, logistics, and construction execution
  • Implement and refine simulation and coordination techniques to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Support field layout coordination using Total Station technologies

Team Leadership, Training & Mentorship
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical direction to BIM VDC personnel and project teams
  • Support onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex BIM VDC challenges

  • BIM VDC-related certifications are a plus

What You'll Get
Working Conditions
The majority of the time you will work in a typical office environment; however, some time will be spent on active construction job sites. While on-site, you may encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud, debris, welding activities, leading edges, trenching, and confined spaces. Travel between multiple job sites may be required throughout the day.
Benefits Overview
IME provides an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package. Full-time employees are eligible to choose from a variety of healthcare coverage options, which become effective the first of the month following hire. In addition, employees are offered a substantial amount of PTO and are immediately eligible to make contributions to a generously matched and fully vested 401(k).
Salary Range: $97,500 - $132,250
Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
