As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing compassionate and ethical individual mental health counseling via secure video chat platforms.
• Utilizing solution-focused treatment modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or mindfulness techniques, tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans that foster client progress and journey towards mental wellness.
• Helping clients explore their thoughts and feelings through insightful dialogue, enhancing their self-awareness and coping skills.
• Regularly monitoring and evaluating client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on stable, low-acuity adults who may present with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and life transitions. By helping these individuals develop essential coping mechanisms and strategies to improve their quality of life, you will play a vital role in supporting their mental health journey and overall well-being.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline, including Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, state-issued mental health counseling license that allows independent practice, such as LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or PsyD. Note that we do not provide supervision for limited/provisional licenses.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and understanding nature.
• Strong computer literacy, with the ability to navigate telehealth platforms effectively.
• A reliable computer with webcam capabilities and a dependable internet connection for virtual sessions.
