POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Implementation Manager is responsible for leading complex, multi-product implementations and optimization projects that drive accelerated time-to-value and long-term customer success. Building on the core responsibilities of the Implementation Manager, the Sr Implementation Manager owns higher-complexity deployments, including enterprise-scale customers, integrations, and advanced onboarding workflows.
Senior Implementation Managers act as trusted advisors to customers, applying deep product expertise, consultative strategy, and UpKeep's AI Intelligence Suite to modernize maintenance operations, standardize data, and unlock advanced automation. They also play a critical role in scaling implementation excellence by mentoring peers, shaping best practices, and partnering cross-functionally on new product and process initiatives.
This is a hybrid role where the employee is expected to be in office on Wednesdays.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Implementation Ownership
  • Lead end-to-end implementations for CMMS and multi-product customers, including CMMS, Safety, Fleet, Learn, Edge, Nova, and provider integrations.
  • Serve as the primary project owner and strategic advisor, accountable for delivery quality, scope management, and on-time go-live success.
  • Scope, plan, and lead implementation optimization projects, including re-deployments, phased rollouts, and advanced configuration use cases.
  • Establish strong executive-level relationships with customer sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams.
Advanced AI & Data Leadership
  • Expertly leverage AI-driven tools to structure, clean, standardize, and transform complex datasets at scale.
  • Design and execute advanced data migration strategies, including multi-system normalization, hierarchy modeling, and validation frameworks.
  • Apply UpKeep's AI Intelligence Suite to automate manual workflows, improve operational efficiency, and elevate customer maintenance strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce or pilot new AI-enabled onboarding methods to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
Enablement, Mentorship & Scale
  • Mentor and coach Implementation Managers on consultative delivery, AI-assisted data formatting, and complex project execution.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of implementation playbooks, templates, and best practices, including AI and automation workflows.
  • Share lessons learned and delivery insights to continuously improve implementation processes and customer outcomes.
Cross-Functional & Strategic Impact
  • Partner closely with Product, Sales, Support, and Engineering to support new product launches, pilots, and advanced onboarding motions.
  • Advocate for customer needs and implementation insights to influence product and process improvements.
  • Support pre-sale and post-sale alignment for complex customers when needed.
EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree a plus in business, communications, or a related field
  • 4+ years experience implementing enterprise SaaS solutions or leading complex customer deployments
  • Proven ability to manage high-complexity, multi-stakeholder implementation projects
  • Strong experience with data migration, integrations, and advanced configuration use cases
  • Experience using Salesforce and project management tools
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) highly preferred
  • Advanced project management expertise, including scope, risk, dependency, and stakeholder management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to data structure and system design
  • Deep understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, and enterprise customer needs
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments while driving clarity and outcomes

COMPENSATION
This role will receive a competitive base salary + company bonus + benefits. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone's compensation-including a candidate's professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.
The pay range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 USD per year.
