About Early-Stage Strategic Consulting
Early-Stage Strategic Consulting firm focuses on helping early-stage startups (Stealth mode, Seed, Series A, and Series B companies) find the right talent to scale their companies. We recruit across executive, technical, and non-technical roles in industries ranging from EdTech to wearable devices to beverage & CPG companies to Fintech startups. We also work with startups to help them with talent strategy for ATS selections, employer branding, University recruiting, and strategies for recruiting diverse talent.
We work with interesting and innovative startups in Chicago, San Francisco, New York, and Denver locations (including remote-first startups). We're always striving to learn more about new innovations to help them grow their team.

This position is a full-time recruiting role with Early-Stage Strategic Consulting. The team is fully remote and we work with clients across the US (EST to PST time zones)
What you will do
  • Review applicants in Indeed, Angelist, and the client's applicant tracking software
  • Proactively source passive candidates on LinkedIn, GitHub, Indeed, and other sources
  • Write unique emails and outreach to passive candidates via LinkedIn, Gem, and email
  • Conduct phone screens, write candidate summaries, and submit potential candidates to the client
  • Work closely with the Founder and Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant to understand the client's recruiting needs
  • Consistently improve the candidate experience and leave them with a positive view of the client and Early-Stage Strategic Consulting even if they aren't selected
  • Improve recruiting operations and develop new systems to create stronger candidate pipelines and reduce time to hire

What we are looking for
  • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience (1+ in sales or GTM recruiting)
  • Has a creative mindset for sourcing and outreaching to candidates on platforms like LinkedIn, Github, Ziprecruiter, Gem, Seekout, and Indeed
  • Enthusiasm for candidates and passion for selling candidates
  • Confidence to challenge hiring managers on non-traditional candidates or recruiting strategies
  • High attention to detail to ensure that all candidates are treated well throughout the interview process
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn recruiting software like Lever, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Seekout, Gem, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Github
  • Someone who embraces recruiting automation software in order to get to candidate conversations faster & reduce the time to hire
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment with shifting priorities

Bonus points for
  • Experience in a fast-paced recruiting environment or agency experience
  • Previous experience in a sales or marketing role
  • Early-stage or growth-stage startup experience
