As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the emotional and psychological well-being of patients and their families:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patients’ psychosocial needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement a comprehensive range of therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches, tailored to meet the unique preferences and requirements of each individual.

• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation while adhering to HIPAA standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance in all patient dealings.

• Engage in collaborative care planning by working closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and chaplains, to deliver comprehensive support that addresses both medical and psychological needs.

• Lead educational sessions aimed at empowering patients and their families with knowledge about mental health, available resources, and possible coping mechanisms.

• Stay current with advancements in social work practices and hospice care to enhance treatment efficacy and improve patient outcomes.

Our primary focus is on patients experiencing terminal illnesses, their families, and caregivers. You will work with a diverse range of clients, providing emotional support and counseling to help them navigate the challenges that arise during this critical time. Your role is instrumental in creating a peaceful, supportive environment for both patients and their families.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, underscoring your academic qualifications for this essential role.

• A valid social work license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania, showcasing your professional excellence and commitment to high ethical standards.

• A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically in hospice or palliative care, demonstrating your ability to handle delicate situations with sensitivity and skill.

• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques, with a solid understanding of evidence-based practices that facilitate positive client outcomes.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Experience working with grief counseling and end-of-life issues is highly desirable. Familiarity with community resources available for patients and their families is an added advantage. Skills in crisis intervention and care planning will set candidates apart, enhancing the immediate support given to patients in stressful situations.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
