Senior Backend Engineer

Founded in 2022 and backed by investors behind SpaceX, Anduril, Neuralink, Palantir, and Reddit, we're a B2B SaaS Startup tackling the $80T financial advisory market that still relies on outdated processes. We're building the first wealth tech data orchestration platform to streamline workflows, boost efficiency, sync data, and transform the client experience.

We are seeking a backend engineer who wants to help build and scale our integration infrastructure at an early stage. You will work hands-on with a staff backend engineer to tackle complex data mapping and synchronization challenges and help power our growth across the wealth tech ecosystem.

Tech Stack: React, TypeScript, Node.js, Golang, PostgreSQL, AWS

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build and scale backend services and APIs that power data orchestration and integrations across the wealth tech ecosystem
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations with third-party financial systems
    Solve complex data mapping and synchronization problems across systems with differing schemas and constraints
  • Design database schemas and implement large-scale data transformations
  • Own backend features end-to-end, from design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
  • Build internal tools that enable Customer Success and Implementation teams
  • Contribute reusable infrastructure patterns and tooling that make new integrations faster and more reliable
  • Partner with frontend, product, and design to deliver high-quality customer experiences
  • Debug and resolve production issues to maintain system reliability and performance


What You Need for This Role

  • 4+ years of backend engineering experience delivering reliable, well-tested systems
  • Experience working with early-stage startups doing feature development on a single product (Seed-Series B desired)
  • Experience dealing with user workflows (task management, data processing, workflow management software, etc)
  • Strong fundamentals in backend development, including API design, data modeling, SQL databases, and system design
  • Experience building integrations with third-party APIs, ETL workflows, or data pipelines
  • Experience with Golang is strongly preferred
  • Comfort working with relational databases and distributed systems concepts
  • Strong sense of ownership with a bias toward action
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new systems and tackling complex integration challenges
  • Clear communicator who can work effectively across engineering, product, and design
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with high autonomy
  • Bonus: experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, event-driven architectures, or tools like Redis, PostgreSQL, AWS SQS, and S3
