Position Summary
At Sam’s Club, we’re focused on delivering exceptional value and experiences to our members. As a Senior Analyst supporting Jewelry & Fragrance Operations, you’ll play a key role in driving the operational strategy and execution for these businesses across our clubs.
In this role, you’ll lead cross-functional initiatives, improve business processes, and ensure consistent execution across clubs nationwide. You’ll partner closely with Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and club teams to enhance operational effectiveness, support strategic priorities, and elevate the member experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, member-focused retail environment.
What You’ll Do
  • Operational Strategy & Process Improvement
  • Lead operational initiatives that support the Jewelry and Fragrance business across Sam’s Club locations
  • Develop, implement, and optimize merchandising standards, operational processes, and execution guidelines
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, increase efficiency, and improve in-club execution
  • Create and maintain operational tools, documentation, and resources that support field teams and cross-functional partners
  • Partner on fixture implementation and other in-club operational initiatives
  • Business Analysis & Execution Support
  • Analyze club performance, operational trends, and field feedback to drive data-informed decisions
  • Build and maintain reporting tools, trackers, and project resources to support business execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify risks, recommend solutions, and improve operational outcomes
  • Support product lifecycle processes including item setup, replenishment, removals, and returns
  • Club Communication & Member Experience Support
  • Serve as a liaison between Home Office teams and club operations to ensure alignment on priorities and execution
  • Develop and maintain operational playbooks, communications, and updates for club teams
  • Support clubs by providing timely responses to operational questions and resolving issues impacting the member experience
  • Ensure field teams have clear, accurate, and accessible information to execute effectively
  • Cross-Functional Partnership & Project Coordination
  • Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to support key business initiatives
  • Coordinate operational execution for promotions, events, and seasonal programs
  • Support forecasting and planning for operational materials and in-club needs
  • Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution across initiatives

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in retail operations, merchandising support, project management, or business analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally
  • Proficiency in Excel and project management or reporting tools
