Delta Controls Tech/Programmer - San Francisco Bay Area - $80K-$140K + Car Allowance + BenefitsAbout the Opportunity:

A reputable Tier-1 Building Automation contractor is seeking an experienced Delta Controls Tech/Programmer to support both project and service initiatives across the San Francisco Bay Area. This position features an 80% field / 20% remote or office workflow and is open to Union or Non-Union applicants. The right individual will thrive in a team-oriented environment alongside seasoned integrators and senior-level programmers.

Position Details:
  • Title: Delta Controls Tech/Programmer
  • Location: San Francisco Bay Area
  • Schedule: 80% Field / 20% Office or Remote
  • Status: Union or Non-Union
  • Compensation: $80,000-$140,000 (DOE) + Overtime
Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, configure, and commission Delta Controls DDC systems
  • Handle retrofit, service, and ground-up construction projects
  • Diagnose control issues and update or rewrite sequences when needed
  • Create applications using prebuilt libraries or develop custom logic
  • Integrate third-party systems using BACnet, Modbus, LON, and similar protocols
  • Set up dashboards, alarms, system trends, and user interfaces
  • Independently oversee project execution and field deliverables
Ideal Candidate:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Delta Controls platforms
  • Strong DDC programming, setup, and integration capabilities
  • Background in HVAC controls installation, testing, and commissioning
