Job description

About this opportunity:
GoEngineer delivers industry-leading engineering, design, and manufacturing solutions that empower customers to innovate faster and smarter. Through advanced engineering software, digital transformation technologies, and additive manufacturing solutions, we help organizations optimize their product development processes from concept to production.
As a Technical Instructor, you will help customers maximize their CATIA and 3DEXPERIENCE investments by delivering engaging training, developing educational content, and providing technical guidance. This customer-facing role is ideal for someone who enjoys simplifying complex concepts and helping engineers, designers, and manufacturing professionals apply technology effectively.
This is a full-time, remote, U.S.A. -based role with approximately 25% travel.
Your key contributions in this role will be:
  • Deliver standard and customized CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA training in virtual, onsite, and classroom settings.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend learning solutions based on business objectives and skill levels.
  • Provide hands-on coaching in a supportive learning environment that promotes practical application and knowledge retention.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for CATIA V5, 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA, CATIA-developed tools, and custom engineering workflows.
  • Help customers solve engineering and design challenges while staying current on software enhancements and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain course descriptions, learning objectives, training materials, and customer-specific content.
  • Create self-paced and instructor-led learning content in collaboration with the digital content team and other internal partners.
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of training resources, including manuals, learning platforms, and educational content libraries.

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements, very interested candidates should still apply:
  • Strong expertise in CATIA V5 and/or 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA.
  • At least one to two years of relevant industry experience; this role is not intended as an entry-level opportunity for candidates directly out of college.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, product development, or engineering workflows.
  • Strong presentation, written communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Camtasia experience for recording and editing self-paced courses is a plus, or a willingness to learn.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% for customer onsite training engagements and classroom instruction at GoEngineer locations.
  • For virtual instruction, access to reliable high-speed internet; GoEngineer will provide approved headset equipment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and related hardware technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, design, education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Competitive Compensation Includes:
