Job description

About the job You will drive the software development of our back-end. As core part of our team, you will: Perform the technical analysis (back-end) of features prepared by the product team Back-end development in Python of features, including the data models and APIs Contribute to the performance and security of the backend serving the web-application as well as machine-to-machine communication Implementation of test strategy and continuous delivery of the application You will work closely together with our co-founder and CTO Hanspeter Höschle. Given our start-up nature, you will have a direct impact on the business and get the opportunity to grow together with Carbon+Alt+Delete.

About your profile We are looking for someone with: A strong drive to have a positive impact At least 4 years of working experience within Python in a software scale-up Experience with FastAPI (or similar python web framework), SQLAlchemy (or similar ORMs) and PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases) is required Practical know-how on deployment on AWS with Terraform is a strong plus An independent working style and effective communication skills Fluency in English About us Carbon+Alt+Delete is based in Belgium but serves clients across Europe.
