Overview Job Overview โ€“ Technical Accounting Manager (SEC Reporting). Compensation: $125,000 โ€“ $155,000/year + bonus. Location: Remote.

Atlantic Group is hiring a Technical Accounting Manager (SEC Reporting) for our client, supporting SEC reporting, technical accounting, and advisory projects across a growing consulting environment. This remote role focuses on preparing and reviewing SEC filings, advising on accounting standards, and supporting clients through complex transactions and reporting requirements. The position requires strong GAAP and SEC knowledge, consulting experience, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements.

Responsibilities SEC Reporting: Prepare and review SEC filings including 10-K, 10-Q, and other regulatory reports. Technical Accounting: Provide guidance on GAAP and complex accounting standards across client engagements. Client Advisory: Support clients on projects including IPO readiness, M&A, and financial reporting initiatives.

Financial Analysis: Assist with financial statement preparation, disclosures, and variance analysis. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and internal controls. Project Management: Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.

Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, CPA is preferred. Experience: 5+ years of public accounting experience with 1-3+ years of consulting experience is required. Industry Knowledge: Strong experience with SEC reporting and accounting standards is required.

Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and experience preparing SEC filings are required.
