This role will be conducted in a climate-controlled, remote office setting tailored for the unique needs of school-based mental health services. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, employing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to tailor individualized treatment plans suited to each patient’s unique situation, including cultural considerations and specific needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mental health outcomes for patients. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these interventions, making adjustments as needed.
• Document all clinical activities meticulously, ensuring patient treatment records, reports, and other required documentation are completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans that prioritize patient goals and desired outcomes.
• Manage and coordinate referrals, serving as an essential link between patients and other treatment providers. Build and maintain strong professional relationships within the healthcare community to facilitate seamless care transitions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students and trainees, including interns and volunteers, fostering an educational environment that supports professional development.
• Participate in peer reviews and clinical collaboration discussions, under the direction of clinical supervisors, to promote best practices and improve overall team performance.

The primary focus will be on individuals and families impacted by cancer. This population often experiences complex emotional and mental health challenges requiring a nuanced understanding of the psychological implications associated with chronic illness. Your role will be vital in delivering therapeutic interventions aimed at alleviating anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues prevalent in this demographic.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or clinical setting, particularly dealing with chronic illness or cancer care.
• Experience working in school-based settings is highly desirable.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
