Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments for couples and families to identify their unique needs and challenges.
  • Facilitating therapeutic sessions that effectively address issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, psychological trauma, grief and loss, and family conflict.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to guide clients through individual, couple, and family therapy.
  • Collaborating with clients on treatment plans and regularly assessing progress to ensure advancements towards their goals.
  • Implementing strategies to improve communication and resolve conflicts among family members.
  • Educating clients on coping mechanisms and behavioral strategies to support their mental health journey.
  • Documenting client interactions and therapeutic outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
