Job description

What do we do?


Co-founded by Harvard graduates, Sinica Education provides online educational content to international students in North America, Europe and China. Using online tools, we provide short online courses, academic counseling, one-on-one teaching, and other academic support and guidance to ensure our students’ academic success.


Sinica Education is looking for instructors to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for instructors in:


For Math:

Calculus II & III, Linear algebra, Mathematical Modeling, Multivariable Calculus, Concepts of Probability, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations, Concepts of Real Analysis, Algebraic Structures,Actuarial Statistical model, Actuarial loss models


For Statistics:

AP and lower college level, for our high school and college tutoring programs: AP Statistics, Statistical Concepts, Statistics, Probability and Mathematical Modeling, Statistics and Data Analysis, Data Science, Business Statistics.


For Economics:

Introductory and intermediate college level economics major required courses. Familiarity with AP/IB is a plus.



And other higher level high school/lower level college subjects are a plus.


Location: Remote/Flexible

Hours: Flexible 8-20 Hours per week

Usually classes are scheduled:

Weekday: EST Afternoon + evening

Weekend: All day

You can pick your suitable hours.

Current Master's and Ph.D. students are encouraged to apply.


What are the required qualifications?

  • MUST hold a BA or graduate degree from a top 30 university. Those holding a PhD or an EdD are encouraged to apply.
  • A real passion for education and a desire to work with international students of different backgrounds, ages, and ability levels
  • Proficient in reading and writing Mandarin Chinese


What are other desirable qualifications?

  • Classroom teaching experience at the high school or university level
  • Experience with high school curriculum design
  • One-on-one tutoring experience with high school or university students
  • Experience with online learning platforms


We are a US-based company, this position qualifies as a contracting position.

For current MS/Ph.D. Students, we will require legal working status/we will provide the necessary documentation for your CPT application.
