Job description

Title:  Paralegal 

Firm X’s Pine Brook office seeks an experienced full-time Paralegal. Health law experience preferred. Opportunity to work with multiple departments in the firm on complex life sciences and healthcare-related matters.
Responsibilities:
  • Research regulatory issues and prepare summaries, memos, and related documents
  • Draft, proofread and revise legal documents and other case material
  • Assist counsel with the submission of licensing applications and appeals
  • Assist counsel with audit review and response preparation
  • Conduct document review for litigation and government investigation related matters
Qualifications:
  • Health law experience preferred
  • BS/BA degree required
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent paralegal curriculum
  • 1+ years’ experience as a paralegal, required
  • 1+ years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician, required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in Westlaw
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management
