We are actively hiring for a Commercial Insurance Analyst, Claims Insights - Remote!

Your Role: As a Senior Commercial Insurance Analyst - Claims Insights, you will play a critical role in transforming data into decisionready insights that drive business performance, portfolio management, and risk outcomes. You will be responsible for performing complex analyses to inform datadriven decisions, identifying trends, evaluating performance, and developing recommendations to address key business challenges. In this role, you will combine insurance domain knowledge, analytical expertise, and technical skills to extract actionable insights, shape data foundations, and foster a datadriven culture.

Your Work:
  • Perform complex data analysis for Commercial Claims aligned to business and portfolio objectives
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches and actionable insights
  • Types of analyses may range from, but not limited to, root cause, cost benefit, performance tracking, forecasting, and exploration, with a strong focus on generating actionable insights
  • Identify and interpret trends, risks, and opportunities impacting client and portfolio performance
  • Formulate datadriven recommendations to improve operational efficiency, loss outcomes, and business strategy
  • Collaborate with partners across Claims, Product, Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, and Technology to define problems and deliver solutions
  • Drive alignment effectively communicating insights, conclusions, and recommended actions to senior leadership
  • Build strong relationships to support adoption and execution of insights
  • Contribute to building and enhancing data pipelines, reporting frameworks, and analytical standards
  • Help establish consistent metric definitions, governance, and scalable analytics practices
  • Support the development of AIenabled and automated analytics capabilities
  • Leverage Industry data and knowledge to evaluate the results in relation with Industry.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to junior analysts
  • Contribute to team success by fostering a collaborative, curious, and highperforming culture
Required Experience, Education and Skills
  • 6+ years of directly related analytical experience in a related industry required.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Superior research, statistical, analytical, data processing and mathematical skills with ability to structure and conduct analyses.
  • Ability to make effective formal presentations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Visual Basic, data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and various structured analysis and design techniques.
  • Knowledge of insurance, accounting and rate-making concepts.
  • Strong ability to independently solve technical challenges by leveraging online resources.
  • Demonstrated analytical agility and curiosity. Passion for learning new things, with an interest in technology.
  • Ability to coach and mentor co-workers and give feedback as required by using effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Direct claims experience or analytical actuarial experience (preferred)

The national average salary range for this position is $110,700.00-$123,000.00. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $110,700.00-$147,500.00. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 10% of eligible pay.This job posting will be unposted on Fri, 10 Jul 2026.
