• Conduct detailed assessments of students to understand their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with educational goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to provide effective interventions, adapting methodologies as necessary for individual student circumstances.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and treatment plans using secure electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprising teachers, school administrators, and other healthcare professionals to foster a holistic support system for students.
• Educate students and their families about available mental health resources, coping strategies, and self-care practices to empower them in managing their mental health challenges.
• Stay informed about the latest research in pediatric mental health and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills.

This position primarily supports adolescents and their families in a school setting, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and social-emotional difficulties. Your role will be crucial in creating an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that encourages open dialogue and intervention, thereby contributing to improved academic performance and emotional resilience among students.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.
• Proficiency in evidence-based interventions and a strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students, families, and educational staff.
• Strong analytical skills to assess risk and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in counseling, social work, or related mental health fields. Experience in a school-based setting is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices to engage effectively with clients from home.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary collaborations to foster better educational and mental health outcomes for students.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
