This role is primarily remote, allowing therapists the flexibility to engage with students effectively and comfortably. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' mental health to accurately identify their needs and create tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy, depending on the client’s age and specific challenges.
• Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for students, facilitating referrals for additional services where necessary.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for students experiencing acute emotional or psychological distress, ensuring appropriate follow-up and continuity of care.
• Implement community outreach initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health awareness and reducing stigma in the school environment, promoting school-wide mental wellness programs.

Our ideal candidate will engage with a diverse student population, including children and adolescents from various cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds. You will play a crucial role in addressing a broad range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges. As a therapist, your work will not only involve direct counseling but also empowering students to navigate their educational journeys with resilience and confidence.

• A valid, independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Strong communication abilities and interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to establish trust and rapport with clients, parents, and school faculty.
• Cultural competence and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by students from varying backgrounds and circumstances.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely follow-ups.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions.
• Engagement in ongoing professional development, including workshops and training related to childhood trauma, special education, or adolescent behavioral issues.
