They use specialized software and analytical techniques to extract meaningful information from satellite imagery, such as environmental changes, weather patterns, or land use. These analysts often work remotely and collaborate with scientists, government agencies, or private companies to support decision-making and research. Their work is essential in fields like agriculture, disaster management, climate science, and urban planning.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote satellite data analyst, and why are they important?

A Remote Satellite Data Analyst needs a solid background in geospatial analysis, data interpretation, and remote sensing, typically supported by a degree in geography, environmental science, or a related field. Familiarity with GIS software (such as ArcGIS or QGIS), programming languages like Python or R, and experience handling satellite imagery are crucial technical requirements. Job description

The Senior Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of core areas of Audiohook's advertising platform — defining what we build, why we build it, and how we measure success. You'll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success to ship products that drive measurable business outcomes.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Roadmap

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for one or more core areas of the Audiohook platform

  • Translate customer needs, market signals, and business goals into clear product requirements, specs, and prioritization decisions

  • Conduct customer research, ride-alongs, and competitive analysis to identify high-leverage opportunities

Execution & Delivery

  • Partner with Engineering and Design from discovery through launch — writing PRDs, leading scoping discussions, and making tradeoff calls

  • Define and track product KPIs; instrument features to measure adoption, performance, and business impact

  • Improve a key platform metric (e.g., feature adoption, performance, or revenue per customer) by a measurable amount within 6 months of hiring

Product Operations

  • Drive product operations improvements: roadmap rituals, release processes, internal launch comms, and cross-team visibility

  • Strengthen the systems and tooling the product team relies on day to day

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Marketing on launches and with Customer Success on activation and feedback loops

  • Present roadmap progress and product reviews in company meetings

  • Communicate clearly and proactively in a remote-first environment

QualificationsRequired

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years at the senior level

  • Strong technical fluency — comfortable discussing system design, data models, and tradeoffs with engineers

  • Demonstrated track record of shipping products that moved business metrics, not just launched features

  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable in SQL or analytics tools, and grounding decisions in data

  • Excellent written communication — PRDs, specs, and decision docs that scale across the team

Preferred

  • Experience in adtech, martech, or B2B SaaS

  • Product operations experience: roadmap tooling, release processes, and cross-functional rituals

  • Experience in a startup or high-growth company

  • Comfort using AI tools to research, draft specs, prototype, and accelerate decision-making

What We Offer

  • Fully remote work environment

  • Competitive salary and equity opportunities

  • Performance bonuses

  • Health, dental, and vision benefits

  • Other benefits such as daily lunch stipend, monthly wifi, cell phone and subscription reimbursement, and annual hardware stipend

  • Flexible PTO and remote-friendly culture

  • Bi-annual Corporate Offsites

  • Opportunity to help shape a function at a rapidly scaling tech company
