Job description

The Position

The overarching mission of the Sales and Administrative Coordinator is to drive ongoing revenue growth by providing white-glove service and a VIP experience to clients (new and existing) and client referral sources (professionals and families). Under the leadership of the Senior Director of Advising, the Sales and Administrative Coordinator owns the end-to-end sales cycle, guiding all new tutoring inquiries through the sales and program design process until handoff to their tutor. In addition to working with new clients, the Sales and Administrative Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and cultivating relationships with current and former tutoring clients through ongoing touchpoints and outreach. The Sales and Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for other administrative tasks in addition to their primary sales responsibilities.

Compensation & Role Structure
We are looking for someone to work 30–40 hours per week, with flexibility within this range depending on the candidate. The hourly rate is $23–$28/hour, commensurate with experience. While this role is 100% remote and open to applicants nationwide, we have a preference for candidates in the DC metro region who can come into the office up to once a week to connect with the team and company culture.
Key Responsibilities & Outcomes

Outcome 1: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle for all new clients to exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals

  • Respond to incoming (new and existing client) sales inquiries within 24 (business) hours. Serve as the primary relationship owner for these clients.
  • Shepherd clients through the inquiry to the tutor handoff process
  • Provide families with VIP communication and responsiveness throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain and update student records to provide current information/next steps on the status of all prospective students, and create a detailed database of client profile notes for future relationship management and sales.
  • Prospect past clients through phone and email-based outreach.
  • Serve as an expert on all Top Score program offerings. Independently design and communicate each student's customized program to families and tutors.
  • Manage all incoming client sales phone calls.
Outcome 2: Outreach Coordination

  • Prospect education professionals to schedule marketing meetings with the Director of Sales and the Executive Director
  • Build an outreach pipeline by researching local professionals who work with adolescents.
  • Research local events that would benefit the Director of Sales or the Executive Director, and recommend attending them.
Outcome 3: Marketing Coordination

  • Own the development and execution of Top Score’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), ensuring weekly posts that are engaging, educational, and impactful for our community.
  • Send handwritten thank-you cards to all referring professionals/referring families.
  • Support with creating and writing newsletters, blog posts, website content, etc.

  • Support the President, Executive Director, and Senior Director of Sales with other administrative tasks and responsibilities.
