About the Senior Data Scientist position:
The Senior Data Scientist will develop,maintain, and train staffinnew data science andhigh-performancecomputing tools and methodologies. Utilize analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze,and interpret large data sets such as insurance claims, electronic health records, financial transactions, social media data, and other unstructured data. Work closely with other consultants, analysts and attorneys to develop rigorous economic models to assess liability and damages, prepare testimony, and critique the analyses of opposing experts. Create interactive analytics portals and datavisualizationsleveragingtechnologies such as R/Shiny, Python/Flask, and D3. Build andmaintainhigh-performance computing (HPC) tools on grid and cloud computing environments. Develop and review macros and packages in SAS, R,Python,and otherobject-orientedlanguages. Establish optimized procedures for repetitive and computationally intensivetasksleveragingC, C++,andCuda-C. Leveragenatural language processing methodologies to work with EMR data, social media data,and other unstructured data.
The candidate must possess a PhDincomputerscience,mathematics,statistics,economics,or related quantitative science (or foreign education equivalent)and no experience.
Alternatively, a Master's degreeincomputerscience,mathematics,statistics,economics, or related quantitative science (or foreign education equivalent)plusone (1)year of experience in a related occupation using software tools and languagestoprovidedata-driven analytical solutions.
The candidate mustalsopossessdemonstrated experience in each of the following skills:
- Database management and data visualization.
- Utilizingobject-orientedprogramming languagessuch asPython,C++orJava.
- Utilizing statistical software such as R or SAS.
- Onlineorcloud computingorstoragesuch as AWS.
May gain experienceand/or skills in a graduate program. Multiple positionsavailable.

Analysis Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated salary range for this position is $160,000-$195,000. Compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including work experience, education, and skill level.
