How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead the design, development, testing, and ongoing enhancement of scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Develop custom platform functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Visualforce, Flow Builder, and Salesforce configuration tools.
• Design and deploy AI-enabled solutions using Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, generative AI, intelligent agents, prompts, and automated actions.
• Identify sales, customer service, underwriting, and operational processes that can benefit from intelligent automation.
• Build agents and AI-assisted workflows that securely use Salesforce records, knowledge sources, APIs, and connected enterprise data.
• Translate business challenges into maintainable Salesforce architecture, technical requirements, and implementation plans.
• Integrate Salesforce with document management, communication, data-enrichment, backup, and other business-critical applications.
• Establish appropriate security, permissions, governance, grounding, and data-quality controls for AI-enabled solutions involving sensitive customer and financial information.
• Provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in coding, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployments.
• Lead code reviews and promote development standards related to scalability, security, performance, testing, and maintainability.
• Maintain source-code repositories and support reliable Salesforce delivery through Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and release-management practices.
• Create technical documentation, architectural diagrams, integration specifications, and development standards.
• Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, automation, data, and performance issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, administrators, product managers, business leaders, and end users.
• Recommend platform improvements and AI capabilities that support business growth and improve the customer experience.

Do You Have the Expertise to Lead Salesforce Agentforce and AI Development?

• Five or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Advanced development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, and Flow Builder.
• Direct experience designing, configuring, developing, testing, integrating, or deploying Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, generative AI, or comparable Salesforce AI functionality.
• Practical experience developing AI agents, agent actions, prompts, automated workflows, grounding approaches, or AI-assisted business processes.
• Strong experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Demonstrated success leading Salesforce implementations, platform enhancements, or complex development initiatives.
• Experience designing and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications or enterprise data sources.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, permissions, sharing models, data architecture, and integration patterns.
• Experience using Git or another source-control platform in a Salesforce development environment.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery teams.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to independently lead technical discussions, balance multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to the Hauppauge, New York office approximately one day per month.

Preferred experience includes:

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
• Salesforce Agentforce Specialist, Salesforce AI Associate, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Administrator certification.
• Production deployment experience with Agentforce or Einstein AI.
• Experience connecting Salesforce AI agents to APIs, enterprise applications, knowledge repositories, or external data sources.
• Knowledge of prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, grounding, AI-response evaluation, and trust and safety controls.
• Experience within commercial lending, alternative lending, fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry.
• Experience supporting small-business products, business-to-business platforms, or SaaS environments.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, automated testing, deployment pipelines, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, analytics, or CRM Analytics.
