Required Skillset:

  • Expert knowledge of NodeJS-based application development
  • Deep experience with MongoDB, including data design and performance optimization
  • Broad hands-on experience with AWS-based infrastructure and deployment processes
  • Working knowledge of Redis, Docker-based containerization, Terraform, Jenkins
  •  Flexible and adaptable with a positive “can-do" attitude
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to work effectively in-office and remote
  • Able to build modular, loosely coupled, reusable, and maintainable software components
  •  Solid experience in modern JavaScript, HTML and CSS (React JS /Redux experience a plus)

Role and Responsibilities:

  • 25%- Help to direct and mentor a growing and distributed team of developers at all levels of experience (from junior to senior/principal) leadership. Observe and promote software development best practices such as proper testing and code review, reuse, and refactoring
  • 25% Be a proactive and hands-on technical troubleshooter to identify issues early and prevent them from occurring. Optimize the applications for stability, security, speed, and scalabilityHands-on production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • 50% MERN DevelopmentContribute to the design, definition, and implementation of the application and feature-level architecture across multiple services and tiers. Interface with product teams and other stakeholders on behalf of development as needed.
