The Opportunity:
You know that true progress is made at the intersection of business and tech, and as a Systems Architecture Analyst, you can develop your skills in both. Here, you'll have the chance to work with an Agile team as they develop digital products to support your clients' most pressing missions. We're looking for someone like you to help propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.
As an IT business analyst, you'll work to develop leading-edge Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) viewpoints using Cameo Systems Modeler. Working with your team of architects, business analysts, and project managers and alongside software developers and product owners, you'll identify clients' business activities, gather software capabilities, and develop architecture documents. You'll understand the overall direction and nuanced system functions clearly, and you'll guide your team as they organize these documents by creating architecture dashboards. Together, you'll deliver high-value business products to our clients.

You Have:
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook
  • Experience using Cameo Systems Modeler to develop DoDAF views and matrices
  • Knowledge of Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes to define the structural and behavioral components of a system using standardized visual languages such as Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and tools
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable insights, proactively foster cross-functional collaboration, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to interpret incomplete or inconsistent documentation and synthesize it into coherent architectural representations
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience in enterprise or large-scale system modernization efforts
  • Knowledge of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
