Job description

Position Overview

Family Legacy Counseling Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role not only allows you to provide critical mental health support, but also empowers you to focus solely on therapy without the burden of administrative tasks typically associated with running a practice.

About the Organization

At Family Legacy Counseling Solutions, we are committed to transforming the way mental health services are delivered. We provide a comprehensive range of counseling services aimed at enhancing emotional well-being for clients throughout California. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment for both our clients and our team of therapists, emphasizing collaborative practice and professional growth.

Work Environment

This position offers the convenience of working from home while being part of a dynamic and motivated team. Our operational model prioritizes flexibility, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You will engage with clients virtually, ensuring therapy is accessible to those in need without the constraints of geographical boundaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, tailoring treatment to meet the diverse needs of clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with best practices.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to create and implement integrated treatment plans for clients.
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively to engage clients and manage appointment schedules.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case strategies, share insights, and foster a community of continuous learning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. This demographic diversity allows for the cultivation of a broad skill set in addressing unique patient needs, providing a fulfilling and varied practice environment.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in a relevant mental health field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Clinical Counseling.
  • Current California state licensure as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Proficiency with digital therapy tools and platforms; experience with therapy apps is advantageous.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting.
  • Previous experience working with a diverse population, employing culturally competent practices.
  • Familiarity with telehealth methods and remote therapeutic intervention.
Compensation and Benefits

We proudly offer a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to an attractive salary, our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Options for life insurance and other supplementary benefit plans.
  • Paid time off, allowing you to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Family Legacy Counseling Solutions, we are committed to your professional development and encourage therapists to pursue ongoing education and training opportunities. We support your journey to deepen your skills and expand your areas of expertise, potentially leading to advanced roles within the organization.

Why Join Our Team

By becoming part of Family Legacy Counseling Solutions, you will be joining a mission-driven team that values the importance of mental health support. Youโ€™ll enjoy the autonomy to focus on therapeutic practice rather than administrative duties, as administrative responsibilities such as billing and client acquisition are managed by our dedicated support team. Here, you can truly thrive while making a meaningful impact in the lives of your clients.
