Business Analyst - Functional

The primary work location is Fort Eustis, VA, with the possibility of Hybrid/remote work

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages requirements and analysis activities.
  • Work with customer stakeholders and technical stakeholders to analyze and clearly document the functional requirements pertaining to Cloud Migration, Data Center Operations, Data Management, Portfolio Management, and Risk Management Framework.
  • Performs technical analysis of complete IT systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
  • Ensures the project and process control documentation are compliant with contract requirements, and objectives.
  • Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for operating methods, processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Documents the applicable specifications, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Articulates requirements, makes recommendations for process and business flows, develops consensus on requirements, and documents requirements via the approved process and templates.
  • Facilitate projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams to produce better business outcomes.

Basic Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Minimum BA/BS with 5+ years of relevant experience or AA with 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and team skills are a must and the ability to deliver on time under aggressive schedules
  • Candidates should possess a sense of ownership, collaboration, and a desire to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ITIL Process
  • Experience with evaluating IT initiatives in a federal agency environment. For instance, interoperability, IT modernization, and Data Management.
  • Previous DHS or DoD experience
