On a given day, you may:
Install autonomous vehicles and peripheral equipment (chargers, I/O panels, operator interfaces, etc.).
Perform system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure optimal performance.
Travel (60-75% of the time) domestically and internationally to customer sites.
Modify equipment and software.
Troubleshoot, define and seek resources to recognize and resolve electrical, mechanical and/or software improvement opportunities with system components.
Make software and hardware adjustments.
Monitor system performance metrics.
Perform customer training.
Interface with customers.
Collaborate with other engineers on projects.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
BS or BSET in Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic, etc.)
Minimum 2+ years of full-time engineering work experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Prior software experience required (C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Visual Basic preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Proficiency in CAD required (AutoCAD preferred).
Valid driver's license required.

Candidates would preferably live in the Dayton, Oh or Chicago IL area. Other areas will be considered based on candidate's experience.

The estimated hourly range for this role is $30.00 - $35.00 an hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
