Their primary responsibility is to ensure continuity of care and maintain patient safety when regular staff are unavailable. These nurses are typically hired through staffing agencies and must be adaptable, experienced, and able to quickly integrate into new clinical environments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote RN Strike Nurse?

Familiarity with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and sometimes temporary staffing agency protocols is essential. Strong communication, resilience under pressure, and the ability to quickly integrate into new teams are standout soft skills for this role. These competencies ensure safe, effective patient care and smooth transitions during healthcare strikes or staffing shortages.

What are the main challenges of working as a Remote RN Strike Nurse and how can I prepare for them?
