Job Summary:
Allina Health is seeking a Hospital-Based Clinic (HBC) Psychiatrist to join our team at Cambridge Medical Center Mental Health Clinic in Cambridge, Minnesota. This opportunity offers a highly flexible practice model for providers who value meaningful clinical work, schedule predictability, and choice in how they practice.
For a 1.0 FTE, this role offers 32-36 contact hours and the ability to tailor your work environment to your preference - work from home up to three days per week or choose to be on site full time. There is no hospital call, providing additional flexibility for providers seeking greater balance and control over their schedule.
Key Position Details:
  • 1.0 FTE hybrid remote/Cambridge Medical Center Mental Health Clinic

This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist seeking a hospital-based outpatient practice with the flexibility to shape their schedule around professional goals and personal priorities. The role is designed for physicians who want strong clinical engagement in behavioral health while maintaining greater autonomy over where and how they work.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree - Completion of an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
  • 1 year of experience in mental health and addiction or family practice with emphasis on MH patients strongly preferred

Licenses/Certifications
  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification within specialty required upon hire date
  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner required
  • BLS Tier 2 - Multisource required within 180 Days
  • Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire

Physical Demands
  • Medium Work*:
  • Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently

Pay Range
Pay Range: $148,835 to $177,500 per year
The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
