• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate new clients' mental health needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are sensitive to each client’s cultural background and personal circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in therapy, including talk therapy and cognitive-behavioral techniques, to support client progress.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment approaches based on client feedback and clinical insights to ensure maximum therapeutic efficacy.
• Educate clients about the importance of financial and emotional commitments to their therapy, fostering transparency and mutual trust.
• Encourage adaptive coping strategies, promote self-reflection, and cultivate nurturing relationships as part of the healing process.
• Monitor clients’ perceptions of the treatment process, adapting interventions as needed for improved adherence and results.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Gentle Strength Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse patient population characterized by various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. We prioritize cultural congruence, ensuring that all treatment options are relevant and effective for clients from different backgrounds. • A Master’s degree in counseling or a related field is required.
• Active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling environment is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.
• Commitment to providing culturally-informed counseling and understanding the diverse backgrounds of the community.

• Experience working in a community health setting or with marginalized populations.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
