Job Description

  • Represent clients in estate and probate litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Research complex legal issues and prepare memoranda, motions, and legal briefs.
  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence.
  • Conduct depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Manage client communications and provide strategic legal guidance throughout the litigation process.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve successful client outcomes.
  • Participate in networking and business development efforts to help grow the practice.
  • Maintain current knowledge of estate litigation law and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Active New Jersey Bar license required.
  • 1+ year of estate litigation experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Comfortable appearing in court and interacting directly with clients.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while independently managing a caseload.
  • Business development interest is a plus.
