JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Director of Business Solutions Technology for HR & Employee Services, you will lead the strategy and execution of engagement capabilities, platforms, and solutions. In this highly visible leadership role, you will oversee a portfolio of technologies, products, services, and business processes that support stakeholder experiences, operational effectiveness, and business performance. Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, you will champion the strategic evolution of key technologies including ServiceNow, Workday, and Five9; ensuring investments align with organizational priorities, driving adoption and continuous improvement, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality outcomes. This position is designated as a hybrid role. We are also open to considering remote candidates who reside outside the local area within the U.S., with the expectation of up to 50% travel to support business needs, team collaboration, and key meetings.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Domain Strategy, Engagement & Platform Portfolio Leadership

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, governance, and lifecycle for a portfolio of domain-specific platforms, solutions, services, and enabling technologies.
  • Partner with business, technology, and functional leaders to align platform investments, engagement priorities, and service capabilities with organizational objectives and evolving stakeholder needs.
  • Lead prioritization, resource planning, and governance for enhancements, new capabilities, operational improvements, and transformation initiatives across the domain portfolio.
  • Translate business objectives and stakeholder requirements into scalable solutions, operating models, processes, and implementation plans that balance experience, risk, efficiency, and value creation.
  • Drive adoption, value realization, and continuous improvement through stakeholder engagement, performance measurement, change leadership, and effective portfolio management.

Service Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Lead the delivery of services, solutions, and support capabilities within the assigned domain, ensuring operational effectiveness, service quality, reliability, and a positive stakeholder experience.
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve service delivery, operational management, governance, and support practices that enable consistent and efficient outcomes.
  • Define, monitor, and enhance service levels, performance metrics, operational measures, and reporting to drive accountability, transparency, and informed decision-making.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate, simplify, standardize, and optimize processes, workflows, and service experiences to improve effectiveness, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Lead teams and partners in operational planning, continuous improvement initiatives, issue resolution, and the delivery of sustainable solutions across business and technology stakeholders.

Platform Leadership, Workflow Modernization & Service Enablement

  • Own the strategic direction, roadmap, and lifecycle of platforms, technologies, and capabilities that enable service delivery, workflow management, knowledge sharing, automation, engagement, and operational effectiveness within the assigned domain.
  • Partner with business, functional, and technology leaders to modernize stakeholder experiences through self-service capabilities, workflow optimization, process improvement, automation, digital solutions, and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee platform integrations, technology alignment, and vendor relationships to ensure scalable, secure, reliable, and sustainable solutions that support business and operational objectives.
  • Evaluate and implement new capabilities and technologies that improve user experiences, increase efficiency, and enhance service delivery and business outcomes.
  • Drive platform adoption, capability maturity, and continuous improvement through effective governance, stakeholder engagement, performance measurement, and change leadership.

Budget & Financial Stewardship

  • Own budget planning and financial stewardship for the assigned domain portfolio, including operating expenses, vendor spend, platform investments, and enhancement initiatives.
  • Partner with finance, technology, business, and functional leaders to prioritize investments, develop business cases, and align funding with business objectives, stakeholder needs, and strategic priorities.
  • Monitor spend, manage tradeoffs, and ensure platform, service, and capability investments deliver measurable value, scalability, operational effectiveness, and business outcomes.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team by setting clear priorities, expectations, and performance outcomes, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and align team capabilities, capacity, and ways of working to strategic priorities by strengthening functional expertise, providing ongoing development and feedback, and ensuring clear roles, decision rights, and effective execution across direct and matrixed team members.
  • Lead change and adoption efforts to ensure successful implementation of new capabilities, solutions, processes, technologies, and service models.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, stakeholder-focused experiences, and operational excellence across the portfolio of capabilities, platforms, services, and solutions.
  • Oversee a team of 50 - 75 direct and indirect reports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, SKILL AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management or equivalent years of experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in information technology,with significant responsibility for employee-facing platforms, service delivery, or enterprise applications (e.g. ServiceNow, Workday, Five9).
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and portfolios that span technology strategy, service operations, and business process improvement.
  • Experience partnering withfunctional, shared services, or business operations leaders to deliver technology solutions that improve employee experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated success leading transformation initiatives involving governance,change management,vendormanagementand adoption of new capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experienceleading, developing, andaligning teamsthrough changingpriorities,capability building,andexecution ofstrategicroadmaps.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
