Location: Merrifield, VA (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote)
Clearance Requirements: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

Position Description:
Seneca Resources is seeking a Project Manager Tech IV with strong project coordination and data analytics experience to support a large-scale engineering and technology program. This role is ideal for an early-career project manager who enjoys combining project management, business analysis, data visualization, and stakeholder communication to drive operational success. The successful candidate will coordinate project activities, monitor key performance metrics, develop interactive dashboards, identify project risks, and provide actionable insights to engineering and business stakeholders. This position requires strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring four days per week onsite in Merrifield, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, deliverables, and milestones across multiple workstreams.
  • Track project performance using KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop and maintain interactive Power BI (or similar) dashboards that provide real-time visibility into project status and performance.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Apply descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to support business and operational decision-making.
  • Create and maintain project documentation including status reports, risk registers, meeting notes, and executive presentations.
  • Monitor project risks and proactively communicate issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, technical, and business teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Translate complex technical and analytical information into clear, actionable insights for leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.

Required Skills/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, business analysis, IT operations, or Agile project environments.
  • Experience building interactive dashboards using Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting, KPI development, and performance metrics.
  • Experience performing descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive data analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Visio, OneNote, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
