Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DE/SARS/LLAP Senior Mortgage Underwriter to join our dynamic financial services team. In this pivotal role, you will evaluate complex mortgage loan applications, assess borrower creditworthiness, and ensure compliance with lending policies and regulatory standards. Your expertise in financial analysis, risk assessment, and underwriting processes will help facilitate responsible lending while supporting the organization’s growth objectives. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough underwriting reviews of residential mortgage applications, analyzing borrower financial data, credit reports, property appraisals, and supporting documentation.
  • Perform detailed risk analysis by evaluating creditworthiness, debt-to-income ratios, cash flow statements, and other financial metrics to determine loan eligibility.
  • Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to project borrower repayment capacity and assess potential risks associated with each loan.
  • Collaborate with loan officers, processors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary data and ensure accurate loan processing.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of mortgage servicing procedures, loan origination processes, and technical accounting standards to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
