Location: Detroit, MI (remote)
Type: W2 Contract
Detroit metro area consultants only

Must Have Skills:
UAT Testing skills
SIT Testing skills
bachelor's degree
Gas or Energy background
Position is Remote but Will need to come onsite to Detroit, Mi potentially once a month on average more in the initial 4 - 5 months and it would reduce in the middle months (Build Phase) and again might increase during SIT/ UAT and Deployment. Expenses etc. would be covered by Client.
The Functional Business Analyst will support the Functional Lead and Consultant in executing key project activities, ensuring smooth requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment for IFS MWM. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to drive project success.
Duties:
Assist in functional delivery across Electric Field Operations, Meter Reading, and Revenue Management Protection for IFS MWM.
Support the development and maintenance of a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
Conduct fit/gap analysis to assess system capabilities and recommend enhancements.
Collaborate with MWM Developers to define and implement functional solutions.
Support creation and management of user stories to align business and system requirements.
Support material preparation for workshops and iterative design, build, and test cycles.
Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and
Deployment activities.
Coordinate with business stakeholders, PMO, IT teams, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
Provide functional expertise and documentation support while tracking progress against project timelines.
