Position Overview
The Clinical Director is responsible for the overall leadership, quality, and growth of ELNC's clinical services. This executive leadership role oversees all clinical operations, ensures exceptional standards of care, develops clinical staff, and partners with executive leadership to expand programs and improve outcomes for children and families.
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced BCBA who excels in leadership, mentorship, operational oversight, and strategic planning while maintaining a strong commitment to evidence-based, ethical practice.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
  • Lead and oversee all ABA clinical services across center, home, school, and community settings.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to BCaBAs, RBTs, and Behavior Technicians.
  • Review assessments, treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and clinical documentation.
  • Ensure services are individualized, data-driven, and implemented with fidelity.
  • Monitor client outcomes and oversee clinical decision-making.
Quality & Compliance
  • Maintain compliance with BACB Ethics Code, state regulations, and payer requirements.
  • Oversee quality assurance, chart audits, utilization reviews, and treatment integrity.
  • Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead incident reviews, risk management, and corrective action planning.
Leadership & Operations
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and organizational growth.
  • Assist with budgeting, staffing, and clinical resource planning.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, and professional development of clinical staff.
  • Support new program development and expansion initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive, and accountable workplace culture.
Family & Community Collaboration
  • Build strong relationships with families and community partners.
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, schools, SLPs, OTs, and other providers.
  • Support caregiver training and interdisciplinary care coordination.
Qualifications
Required
  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Current BCBA certification
  • Maryland Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or eligibility upon hire
  • Minimum 2 years of post-certification ABA experience
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience supervising BCBAs and multidisciplinary clinical teams
  • Strong knowledge of VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PEAK, Vineland, FAST, FBAs, and evidence-based ABA interventions
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable transportation
Preferred
  • Experience leading center-based ABA programs
  • Medicaid and commercial insurance expertise
  • Knowledge of Organizational Behavior Management (OBM)
  • Experience with electronic health records and clinical data systems
