• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms and overall mental health.
• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific needs, objectives, and preferences, ensuring a tailored approach to care.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address emotional challenges faced by clients.
• Provide educational resources and supportive guidance to clients and their families on managing mood disorders, exploring treatment options, and emphasizing self-care techniques.
• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to adapt to changing needs and circumstances.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health to refine therapeutic strategies and improve outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and best practices.
• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and reducing stigma associated with mood disorders.

The clients you will serve at Lighthouse Wellness Therapeutic Clinic primarily consist of individuals coping with a range of mood disorders. Your expertise in treating conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety will be paramount in facilitating their recovery and overall mental health improvements. The diverse backgrounds and unique experiences of our clientele foster a dynamic therapeutic environment, encouraging a personalized approach to each client's mental health journey.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in Maryland as an LCSW-C, LCMFT, LMFT, or LCPC.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, especially CBT and DBT.
• Strong background knowledge in psychopharmacology, with the ability to communicate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
• A proven track record demonstrating successful outcomes in treating mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse client populations.

• Experience working with telehealth platforms is highly preferred to enhance service delivery.
• Background in crisis intervention and managing high-risk behaviors associated with mood disorders.
• A penchant for research and keeping abreast of new developments in mental health treatment methodologies.
