This role is primarily remote, allowing therapists to adapt their work schedules and environments to fit their personal needs while still meeting the high standards of care expected by our organization. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative teams of professionals, engaged in a variety of meetings and discussions to ensure that we deliver effective and holistic care to our patients. The virtual setting includes regular video conferencing to facilitate ongoing communication and support among colleagues and supervisors.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to tailor treatment plans that suit their specific needs, including mental health evaluations and risk assessments.
• Engage in effective communication with supervisors, caregivers, and team members to share progress updates and collaborative strategies for each client's treatment.
• Maintain an organized schedule of client appointments, ensuring timely follow-up visits, home visits, and necessary observations as part of the treatment process.
• Coordinate and facilitate home visits, including in-home observations, reviewing progress notes, conducting staff interviews, and analyzing relevant data to ensure comprehensive care.
• Supervise the execution of individualized treatment plans and make adjustments based on client feedback and ongoing assessment results.
• Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, contributing insights and strategies to enhance the effectiveness of client care.
• Complete thorough documentation of progress notes on a monthly and quarterly basis, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health counseling.
• Provide training and support to colleagues and staff members to ensure program plans and documentation practices are consistently followed and understood.
• Facilitate follow-up interviews and observations, ensuring ongoing support and addressing any evolving needs of clients.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Advocate Aurora, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population, including both adults and youth. You will engage with clients facing a range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues, while utilizing various therapeutic techniques. • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical counseling, preferably in a hands-on therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, substance misuse recovery, or trauma-focused therapy is highly favored.
• Experience with evidence-based practices and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities is a plus.

• Competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 per year, determined by caseload and experience.
