• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and risk assessments to understand and identify patient needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient, ensuring their therapeutic goals are met.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed practices.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and stabilization for patients exhibiting acute distress, reinforcing a sense of safety and support.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary approach to care, ensuring coordinated and consistent treatment.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to accommodate changes in their mental health status.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance understanding and support systems.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge and aftercare plans, emphasizing long-term recovery strategies.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and facility guidelines regarding mental health treatment and confidentiality.

• Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Arizona is required.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential for this role.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention and case management, with an understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
